Alice Continued

This weeks been a big one. It's one of those 'level up' weeks where everything just goes right. Regarding the Alice project, I have a solid idea of where I want it to go. I have everything mapped out with concepts for the areas and how Alice will move through the level. I'm just starting to make foliage because I'm going to need lots of it, it's hardly the most interesting thing to model. So an early start will keep me from going mad. I've also been looking into 3D scanning for use on complex objects like statues and how to bake down the awful topology and textures from a scan. If I can get it to work well the Alice map should look really unique and realistic. At the start of the week I made a portfolio. Beyond that, I'm just painting everyday.
